| Problem: | Why is the login screen coming up when trying to run Contractor? |
| Problem: | Primavera Contractor Login Box appears |
| Cause: | The username and password to access the application is set to Admin/Admin, and this is what the program tries to use automatically when starting the program without asking the user. If this has been changed then a login screen will be displayed for the user to input the correct details. |
| Fix: | If the user is unsure about what the details have been changed to, then they can check/alter them through the dbconfig program in the contractor folder.
To set Primavera Contractor not to require a login on opening, edit the pcon.ini file in the folder where Primavera Contractor is installed (the default installation path is C:\Program Files\Primavera\Primavera Contractor) and ensure that the “Password” entry under [Autologin] is the same as the Contractor login password. |
