| Problem: | How to set up a Linked Server to point to the SDK in SQL 2000 Enterprise Manager |
| Fix: | 1) In Enterprise Manager, under the Security section, Right click on Linked Servers, and choose New Linked Server 2) Under server type choose other data source, and then Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Driver 3) For product name choose MSDASQL, Data source should be the SystemDSN name of the ODBC datasource. 4) Under Provider string enter UID=<<PM LOGIN>>; PWD=<<LOGIN PASSWORD>>; Leave location and catalog blank.
